Outline and organization aren’t enough!
To see significant improvements in student learning, your district must first develop their local K-12 curriculum. Aligned to state standards, but not a simple organization of them, it provides teachers with their targets for aligning instruction and using (or developing) common assessments. Additionally, it acts as your set of needs when selecting resources and materials (including textbooks) to support instruction. In this 2-hour workshop, we’ll share our processes for developing your local curriculum and criteria for making it effective.
Date: March 4, 2021 Time: 9:00-11:00 am (MST) Where: Online via Zoom Cost: $49
Note: This is the second session in the 4-part workshop series Developing and Implementing Systems for Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. For more information about the full workshop, click here.
