Sharing ideas for more engaging lessons.
One of the many benefits of working with educators across the country is gathering ideas for the classroom

eTips

New Learning Infrastructure

Emporia State University Professor Emeritus, author, founder, and former Executive Director of CLI, Stu Ervay introduces a new way of thinking about schools and schooling in his blog, New Learning Infrastructure.
His suggestions for modifying American education originated with his doctoral research over 50 years ago. Those suggestions, now the essence of the CLI Model, focus on systems methods for curriculum design and implementation AND upgrading the professionalism of public-school teachers. His book, The Teacher as Somebody: Skills that Make Teaching a True Profession, is available free of charge to those contacting the CLI Office.
E-Hints
Prior to eTips, we offered monthly E-Hints. Two or three-page hints that educators may use to improve their school’s processes. You might find an E-Hint on the latest research about a topic, a new approach to an instructional technique, or a “what works” tip from another school district. You are welcome to download E-Hints and share them with others within or outside your district.
